A lovely friend named Tammy said she recently attended her mother’s funeral in a small country church and was so moved by the old Southern hymns focused on Heaven. Examples would be “In the Sweet By and By” and  “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.” She shared that these seem to grow in popularity as we age and anticipate our future with God.

I thought about this and realized as a young person I never really wanted to think about heaven because I so enjoyed life with Jesus every day. Heaven seemed far and distant and I would often think, “I’ll think about that when I get old.”

But I’ve come to realize that this is not God’s intent, desire, or plan at all. He has used several dramatic life experiences to change my paradigm completely. After months of prayer I believe He has spoken a clear message for me to share on May 2 that I believe will change your paradigm as well. The title is, “Kingdom Come – Embracing the Invitation, the Life, and the Mission.”

In preparation, please begin meditating and asking God to show you more about His Kingdom and the prayer you’ve probably prayed since childhood, “Thy Kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,” ( Matthew 6:10).

I am excited to invite you to join me on Saturday morning, May 2, for a Women’s Breakfast where I will be speaking at Calvary Chapel Northside in Hixson, TN.

I can’t wait to see you there! You can click this invitation with the link to register. God has something exciting in store, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
