March Men’s Retreat Review

In March, I conducted a men’s retreat for over seventy-five men from a church in Lancaster, PA. My retreat was entitled: “Guys, God, and the Great Outdoors: Becoming a Man of Passion, Power, and Purpose.” This is a seminal message linking a man’s passion for the outdoors with passion for God that I look forward to delivering to church groups like yours! The men were engaged, excited, and on fire by the end of the weekend.

I speak on Saturday, June 18 to a Men’s Prayer Breakfast in Annapolis, MD at Bay Area Community Church (where I came to faith). I’d love to see you there! For more information contact Pastor Allen Smith at (410)544-2222.

On July 2, 8-9 am I will be speaking at Chestertown Baptist Men’s Breakfast. For more information, please contact Pastor Scott Lockerman at (443)480-8907 or 410-778-5844.

In September I will be speakingat a “Beast Feast” in Fredericksburg, VA Date and time to be announced!
I hope to see you at one of these events and if your church would be interested in my speaking for them or helping plan a future retreat, feel free to contact me at (410) 708-9957 or reen.waterman@navigators.org.

I understand the need for our own “Spring Training.” We joke about the “COVID 15 Pounds” we carry around on our waists, the result of grazing while locked down–but it is real. Comfort food added uncomfortable and unhealthy pounds to us all this year. I was particularly convicted when I read recently in 1 Cor 6:19-20 that “our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.”
