Jesus never wrote a book, yet more books have been written about Him than about any other person who ever lived.

He never wrote a song, yet millions of songs have been composed to His praise.

He never founded a university, yet all the schools and universities in the world cannot boast of having as many students as He has had.

He never practiced medicine, yet He has healed more broken hearts and restored more lives than all the doctors combined.

He never marshaled an army, drafted a soldier, nor fired a weapon, yet no leader has ever commanded so many volunteers who, under His direction, have made more rebels lay down their arms and surrender without a shot being fired.

He never held political office, yet He influences governments more than rulers do.

He never traveled far from His birthplace, yet His message has reached every nation and every corner of the earth.

Great men have come and gone. Empires have risen and fallen. Kings and presidents have reigned and passed away. Scientists have made discoveries, philosophers have debated, and leaders have shaped history — yet no one has changed the course of human history like Jesus Christ.

Time itself is divided by His coming.

Though He lived over two thousand years ago, He is still the central figure of the human race.

All the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, and all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected life upon this earth as powerfully as that one solitary life.

In the middle of changing times, keep your heart and mind fixed on Jesus—the One who never changes.
