Summer Update
I don’t know about you, but I have so much going on this summer it’s a little overwhelming. I am setting up our new home in Chattanooga (almost finished!). We continue in our role as Navigator staff touching lives through Your Refreshed Life ministry adding a new focus on Marketplace ministry (we’ll tell you about it soon). Reen is interviewing for some very interesting positions often incorporating me in the mix by using my editing skills or involving me in interview luncheons and local events.
I am facilitating a wonderful group of friends as we continue a life coaching book study together and I soon will be facilitating another group focused on discipleship and mentoring (I would love for you to join us on Thursdays for this August ZOOM group!). I am also taking on a few select clients in my Life Coaching work and am always praying for my very precious biological family and all of you, my cherished YRL family!
Whew! And yet I am loving every minute. There is nothing more fulfilling than being in the center of God’s will doing the things He calls you to do. How about you? I learned many years ago that busyness is futile. I pray to hear from God before taking any responsibilities outside the routine demands of my family. I’ve never regretted that decision. God used some very difficult and unforgettable circumstances to teach me how and when to say “No.” Next week I’ll share how to say “No” to busyness and “Yes” to God.
