Celebrate! Dance to the Music!

Can you hear it? Do you hear the music? 

Regardless of the hurried nature of the season and often overwhelming responsibilities, there is a song being sung. It is a song of rejoicing.  Can you hear it? Quiet yourself for a moment. Listen intently. Do you hear the melody, the exuberance, the joy? It’s a song sung about you as one of God’s cherished people…by Someone who loves you more than you may ever know or understand in this lifetime.

The God of the whole Universe sings a song of rejoicing over you! 

Someone with the strange name of Zephaniah wants you to realize something today you may never have known. He wants you to stop and soak in the thought. He wants you to hear the joyful melody. He writes to you… yes, you.

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing!” (Zephaniah 3:20)

Do you hear that? As one who believes in His Son and so becomes one of His children, God not only rejoices over you with singing, but takes great delight in you and wants to quiet you with His love. 

This key to living Your Refreshed Life is that no matter what you face today, you can stop and listen. Hear God’s song of delight and rejoicing and allow Him to wrap His arms around you even now… and quiet you in His love.
