The Everlasting Arms

I’m reading a fascinating book entitled, “Leadership Not By the Book.” Written by the Founder and CEO of Hobby Lobby, David Green, it’s a memoir and book of faith stories. Even more importantly it’s a book demonstrating God’s faithfulness. I read a quote today I want to share, “No matter your line of work, regardless of what you are going through, God wants to be involved in every aspect of your life. His Word promises, ‘For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him’” (2 Chron. 16:9).

What are you going through?

  • Is it a happy time? Maybe you’re enjoying Spring break with your kids.
  • Is it a tough time? Maybe you’re finding it challenging to buy groceries and gas.
  • Is it a sad time?  Maybe someone you love is in trouble.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that regardless of what you are going through, God is there to strengthen you?

As we approach Easter, when we are so aware of the price Jesus paid to remove the penalty for our sins by dying in our place, isn’t it a blessing to realize He went through it all because He loves us? And that His love and forgiveness never waver.

I am reminded of my dear friend and mentor Elisabeth Elliot who began every daily radio program with these words, “‘You are loved with an everlasting love,’ that’s what the Bible says, ‘and underneath are the everlasting arms” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Take comfort today with gratitude and joy. There is nothing outside God’s sight or power to act. He is constantly working on your behalf whether you realize it or not. Sometimes He has a long view we simply can’t see. When you can’t see His Error! Hyperlink reference not valid.hand…remember His heart. He loves you. He promises that He is orchestrating everything, good or bad, to work out for your good as His child who loves Him and who is called according to His plans and purposes (Romans 8:28).

If we can pray specifically for you this Easter season, please send an email to info@yourrefreshedlife.com. We also love you and pray faithfully for our Your Refreshed Life family.

May you have a joyous Resurrection Sunday celebration of Christ’s new life in you!
