Who’s Leading You?

Last week we discussed the process in determining direction for next steps, new beginnings, or our “Second Act.” It excites me to know that every day is a new opportunity to discover God’s purpose and plan for us. Every day is a fresh surprise!

That is the gift of Your Refreshed Life. There is peace and security in the process. I am thankful, as Christ-followers, that God alone knows us completely, knows everything going on around us, and is fully aware of the outcome of every decision and change in direction we make. And He promises that even when we don’t always realize it, He is working everything for our good and His glory. (Romans 8:28). Amazing!

As we follow our Leader, we can join the Apostle Paul in giving thanks, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ…” (2 Corinthians 2: 14-15)

What a promise and a privilege to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! God makes us the fragrance of His Son Jesus wherever we go and with whomever we meet. We are like sweet perfume. Wherever you find yourself this month, let the fragrance of Jesus’ love and light pour out on all you meet!
